Taneycomo and Water Front/IN Condos

Our good friend Bruce, has one of the Lake Front condos seen above in the trees at Point Royale.  We asked him if we could put a Crawdad trap in his Condo behind his Big Screen TV.  He didn’t laugh!  Fortunately, so far the water has stayed out of this building.

Residential Flooding

Our local Residents are the ones that have suffered the most as a result of the massive release of water from Table Rock Dam - 2011 Flood.  Many of these have just now recovered from the 2008 flood.  Table Rock Dam has gone for 50 years without any major water releases or flooding.  Unfortunately, it has now occurred twice in 3 years.  Please keep our neighbors in your prayers.

Most of the residences on the left were not effected by the 2008 flood with water released at 48,000 cfs.  The 2011 emergency release of 68,000 was a different story.

Hwy 65 Bridge over Alexander Park

Hard to imagine, but there is a road under the water that crosses under the bridge
